April 8, 2025April's Volunteer Grandparent of the Month: Mrs. Moenk!
It's an honor to shine a spotlight on the amazing Mrs. Moenk, our April Volunteer Grandparent of the Month! A beloved member of our SATG family, Mrs. Moenk has been a devoted part of our Grandparents Club since its very beginning three years ago.
You’ll often find her brightening the primary hallways before school, working 1:1 with our 2nd graders to strengthen their reading skills or lending a loving hand at our Merciful Friends Breakfasts, where she helps set up those tasty morning treats! ☕
She’s not only a proud grandma to 11 grandchildren—including SATG students Logan (4th Grade), Harper (3rd Grade), and Bennett (Kindergarten)— but also the proud mom of our very own Mrs. Vlcek, 1st Grade teacher extraordinaire!
With 36 years in Catholic education under her belt, Mrs. Moenk brings a wealth of experience, heart, and dedication to everything she does. When asked what she loves most about volunteering, she shared it’s not just seeing her own grandkids—it’s watching all our little learners grow and thrive year after year.
