Last month, Isabel Silva a 2
nd grader at SATG, performed at her first piano festival at Baldwin Wallace University. She prepared and memorized two pieces ("San Francisco Trolley" and "There's a Rainbow in the Sky") over the course of the past few months. These pieces were both a level above where she would be expected to perform based on her experience.
At the university, she played the pieces by heart in front of two judges. Her piano teacher went to the school later to pick up her results and then called us. She received glowing reviews and a rating of "Unanimous Superior." To get this, you need to have the highest possible rating (5 on a scale of 1-5) from both judges!
Her family is proud of her, and her teacher was thrilled.
