Turning Everyday Spending Into Cash For Our Kids!
The Manna Gift Card Program is an on-going fundraiser for the day school, PSR program and parish. It is administered by the PTO and is a volunteer-driven program. The Manna Program is able to buy a variety of gift cards at a discounted price, which we can then sell to you. All you pay is face value, not a penny extra. Your cost is $25 to get a $25 gift card. Your purchase of grocery, restaurant, clothing, gas station and entertainment gift cards nets our day school, PSR program and parish between 2% - 20% of your purchase price. For the fiscal year ending July 2017, we were able to raise almost $70,000.
What Gift Cards Are Available?
1. In-Stock Gift Cards - Are available every day.
2. Special Order Gift Cards - We maintain a list of popular special order gift cards. If we receive your special order gift card request and payment prior to Monday at 10:00 am, you will receive your cards by Friday.

What Are Manna Gift Certificates?
Manna Gift Certificates can be purchased in any denomination, which allows the recipient to purchase the Manna gift card(s) of their choice. These are a popular gift for teachers, coaches, parents and any SATG parishioner. The Gift Certificate will show the giver’s name, the recipient’s name, the denomination and can include a short message. To purchase a Manna Gift Certificate, you can fill the section on the Manna Gift Card Order Form or visit our website.
How Can I Ensure Proper Credit For My Manna Purchase?
It has been asked that all school families purchase $5,000 worth of Manna Gift Cards, over the course of a school year (July 1st - June 30th). The Manna program uses QuickBooksTM to manage our sales and inventory data. It uses the parents’ first and last names to ensure each family receives credit for your order. Each order received is processed and recorded, based on the information provided on the order form. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you clearly fill out the order form to include your first and last name, the family name to which you want your Manna order credited, and whether or not the credit should go to the school, PSR program, or church. Remember, we are a very large school and parish, and there are families with the same or very similar last names, so please properly fill out your order form. Also, if you do not have a student currently enrolled at Saint Albert the Great School, or if you have reached your Manna goal and do not have a specific family that you would like to give credit to, the Saint Albert the Great “Family In Need” (“FIN”) Fund has been established to help those families who may be in need of assistance. Just check the box on the order form and your credit will go to this fund.
How Can I See How Much Manna My Family Has Purchased This Year?
We will periodically send home letters letting you know your progress towards your yearly Manna goal. If you wish, you may also contact us at (440) 237-1032 ext. 2044 or by email at “Manna@saint-albert.org”.
Manna Mass Volunteers
One of the easiest ways to fulfill your PTO volunteer commitment!· Sell gift cards at the Manna table for 30 minutes at each scheduled Mass – 15 minutes before Mass starts and 15 minutes after. Volunteers are typically scheduled for one Mass every 6 weeks. A yearlong commitment involves working only 7-8 Masses, or providing 3.5 – 4 hours of volunteer time.
Manna School Volunteers
Volunteers help receive, process, and fill Manna orders. The Manna School Office is open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. As a volunteer you commit to a minimum of one morning every other week, or approximately 18 mornings/45 hours of volunteer time. If you are available to volunteer more time/days, please let us know.
