Congratulations to Mrs. Fahey, our Volunteer Grandparent of the Month! Mrs. Fahey is a cherished member of the Saint Albert the Great community, embodying love and service in countless ways. ✨ On Wednesdays, she chaperones Junior High students to the Adoration Chapel, spending 30 minutes in silent prayer together—a beautiful expression of faith that inspires our young people to grow closer to Jesus. ✨ In addition, she volunteers in the Rocket Shop, reads with 2nd graders, helps with Merciful Friends breakfasts, and lends her talents to the Garden Club. Mrs. Fahey’s dedication to our school is rooted in her love for the SATG family. She’s not only a proud grandma to Lily (7th grade) and Kate (3rd grade), but she’s also a former SATG parent whose daughter, Mrs. Meholif, serves as one of our amazing Intervention Specialists! When asked about her favorite part of volunteering, Mrs. Fahey said: "I just love being here and working with the kids. I especially love visiting the Adoration Chapel with our older students. My hope is that when we go to the Adoration Chapel, they come back feeling a little closer to Jesus. That makes it all worthwhile!" Thank you, Mrs. Fahey, for your selfless service, unwavering faith, and the countless ways you bless our community. You’re a shining example of love in action! ❤️
